Welcome to My Head

This was shot on 3.30.12, when Wayland played at Penny Road Pub in Barrington IL. This is what I got from a few where I played with trail-curtain sync flash on my Pentax Kx. I used the stock 18-55mm lens at 24mm focal distance. It was overexposed at F5.6, 1/2 second (aperature-priority camera setting) at 1600ISO with auto white balance. I may have had to bastardize the heck out of this in Photoshop's raw editor, but I think I salvaged something pretty cool out of the original shot. Next time I play with trail-curtains at Penny Road, I think I'll try a few different exposure settings (in manual), probably starting with F8 1/2 sec.
