Great response to Stripes!! Taking them up and down, breaking them up in space. Not to mention recontextualizing in a constructed, hyper-urban environment, of course.
Thank you DC. happy to see you will follow this exhibit. The first series 'strips' is very strong, it wasn't easy to select the frames for the response. A challenge I will enjoy I'm sure.
marvellous - particularly loving that thing in number 5 - and i like the tangential response - will have to look carefully and plan sundays' offering.
Thank you Tom, exhibit 2 will be fun to think out. I will throw in some new material as well. Perhaps I can publish first this time and let the community anticipate your response...
Beautiful work. Love the variety yet cohesion...something I think you do very well in general. The blurred yellow rail shot is exceptional. Great series.
Thank you ancientcitysf, glad you like the concept. We are looking forward to pushing this to the absolute edge of quality and cohesion.
Are you printing/showing...? Just curious.
Excellent question. Depending on the success of estuary, a physical show, transatlantic, would be the next step of the project, for the fall season ; time, energy and resources willing of course. It's a thought. estuary is an exploration first and foremost, success and a print exhibit is theoretical.
visualis conundrumus - or something like that - like real eschers... clever photography this.
interestingly matched against my stuff too, like i said eric, clever. i'd like to join the discussions so if there's any of the convozine guys listening maybe you could offer me some advice? i'm using int ex 8 with windows 7. when i click on the discussions button i get a window says insert object and i click ok. this crashes int ex and after a moment it recovers the page i was on, but doesn't access the discussion pages. eric, i'm intrigued to see what discussions you've started, so hopefully one day soon.
I think Tom that Explorer doesn't support Convozine very well, some features can be missing or misfunctionning. Download Chrome or Safari if you want, they work fine with convozine.
True, if I may interject — we do recommend Firefox or Chrome. Expolorer keeps changing its code with such frequency it's just not viable for us to optimize the platform for it, unfortunately.
Great response Eric! I love how you both use your graphic design elements to unite such disparate environments. And the hyper realism of the 7th shot is eerie!
Thank you Karen, i'm happy you joined estuary ; you're imput is much appreciated
