Composition Cruz

     I headed out early to capture what I thought would be an epic sunrise. BUT, when I arrived to see there was not a cloud in the sky, I switched to silhouette composition mode.  The gradient of the early morning sky lent itself to nice transitional tones throughout these photos. 
       This is the 'Sky Ride' at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk  .  It is really cool to go down there in the early a.m (especially in the off season), where you find yourself in an amusement park all alone. It is quite peaceful, and sometimes surreal, like a movie set or something. I always enjoy these early morning ventures of mine.
