No Country for Old Men

I took this shot in Ottawa, Canada, with my Nikon D300 (and AF S Nikkor 17-55mm lens) during an exceptionally heavy snowstorm early this month. Having just arrived to Canada from Europe, I felt an irresistible urge to venture out and experience a culture and temperature shock and do my best without damaging my camera in the wet minus 20C cold. I felt moved by the sight of a little green house surrounded by snow and ice in the middle of the field called the city's "Experimental Farm"... and the photo's title came to mind.
