IN ALL OUR DECADENCE PEOPLE DIE: Punk/Anarchist fanzine art 1976-1984 (at Boo-Hooray, NYC)
Would love to see this show. It reminds me so much of the San Francisco punk/post-punk scene, circa 1980. Wish I'd collected more of those fan zines strewn around the Mabuhay Gardens, not to mention the flyers my band and others used to slap on phone poles and bulletin boards by Los Plugz, Los Microwaves, Animal Farm, D.O.A., the Dead Kennedys, the Middle Class and so on.
As Flavorwire points out, "it’s fascinating to see how some of the techniques and ideas pioneered by anarchist zinesters (particularly stencilling) have since crossed over into the mainstream."

Nothing can replace that era of hand made punk zines. You can still find a few pathetic bad boys laying around the music record shop back corners.
