*Today's Banksy Fix*
All hyperbole aside: Banksy is no doubt the greatest active artist of my/our generation. Throughout my own frame of reference of art history (which, in comparison to others, is not incredibly extensive). I can't even count on one hand all the artists peppered througout time who have possessed the ability A talent like Banksy's comes along far too rarely. Unfortunately, rather than be justly cherished, he is--like all men of legacy--often persecuted for his creations. For instance, Banksy only makes (the ever-so-rare) public appearance if he's clad in an obstructive mask. A litany of nations list him as a wanted criminal--though there are also a number of governments who recognize these stenciled boms as true fine art and refuse to paint them over.
Sure, it's not a perfect scenario, but it's still comforting to know that much of the world is comig to realize that Stalin was talking out of his ass about the 'perils' of free speech.
Hoping you guys add some of your favorite Banksy~ness! 'Til next time...
