Hard city (when life leaves the body)

Huge Huge Huge Huge Huge Huge Huge

I want to put this in its context. This metro station is notorious for having homeless people lying on the floor everyday. My city and people aren't as cold and insensitive as these pictures suggest. This man was picked up by health authoritys in the minutes following the shoot.  Nikon D3100_18mm_ISO3200_contrast bumped in View NX2

So is this person actually dead, do you think?? What a shot. Took one like this myself at a bus stop last month. Would be great to have this one on FOTOJORNO!

No, he was still alive when they picked him up, but quite in a bad shape ; he seemed lifeless to me. Glad you like it Hector. Will submit.

extraordinary - in terms of the shots i think that 3 and 8 are masterful - in terms of narrative this is pure coventry. your last moments on earth could be your loneliest, and you're surrounded by throngs of people, all of them looking anywhere other than at you.

true and sad, life has become a trajedy for some and no one is immune to this faith. Thank you for the kind words. 1 and 7 are also my favorites.
